Apparently this is only the second year that the parade has woven it's way through the inner city streets of Hastings, led by the Sir Mark Todd.

While small in comparison to the Blossom Parade I really feel it has a lot of potential; and thankfully in contrast there was no pushing and shoving to get in front of ill-mannered disrespectful crowds.

Yes, Horse of the Year, please do continue to develop the parade.  It is such a privilege to see these beautiful creatures, and an honour to be able to celebrate your love of them with you.
